CHARLOTTE, N.C., JULY, 20, 2026 – Chartwells Higher Education today introduced a refreshed brand platform built around “Dining, Made Personal.” This new identity is a reflection of Chartwells’ dedication to putting people at the center of the campus experience and continuing to evolve alongside today’s students, university partners, and campus communities.
The launch of “Dining, Made Personal” comes at a time when today’s students are redefining the role dining plays on campus. They want experiences that feel relevant, welcoming and human, and that make them excited to return. This evolution is grounded in proprietary research from Chartwells’ Campus Dining Signal Report, which analyzed insights from over 100,000 student voices to identify the critical cultural and behavioral shifts shaping the future of campus life.
“What makes dining personal is not only what is served, but how students are welcomed, known and cared for in the moments they spend with us,” said Eva Wojtalewski, CEO of Chartwells Higher Education. “‘Dining, Made Personal’ is about the people behind those moments, our associates, chefs and campus partners, who help make campus feel more connected, more supportive and more human every day.”
Dining is one of the most consistent touchpoints in a student’s day, and one of the most meaningful opportunities to make campus feel human. Through “Dining, Made Personal,” Chartwells partners with institutions to co-create dining programs shaped by each campus community, bringing together quality, craveable food, culturally relevant menus, welcoming spaces, familiar faces and everyday moments of care.
As part of the evolution, Chartwells is introducing Signature Service, a new hospitality training initiative that will equip frontline team members with the tools to create meaningful connections, deliver service with intention and make every guest feel seen and welcomed. The initiative will help bring the brand to life consistently across university dining halls and retail hubs, ensuring students and guests experience the personal, people-first hospitality at the heart of Chartwells’ approach.
