Chartwells Higher Education Announces New CEO

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 10, 2024 – Chartwells Higher Education, a recognized leader in contract food service management, has appointed Eva Wojtalewski as its new Chief Executive Officer. Wojtalewski brings nearly two decades of legal and business experience, guiding companies in areas like corporate development, growth initiatives, strategic acquisitions, and risk management.

In her new role, Wojtalewski will lead over 38,000 dedicated foodservice associates who create joy and connection through food at more than 300 college and university campuses across the country. Grounded by a passion for making a positive impact, she is dedicated to creating opportunities for both valued team members and campus partners to realize even greater success.

Most recently, Wojtalewski was Vice President, Managing Legal Counsel for Compass Education, overseeing the legal team and serving as lead counsel to Compass Group’s Chartwells Higher Education and K-12 divisions in the United States. She also served as a member of the Chartwells Higher Education leadership team. Prior to that, she spent two decades as a corporate attorney, advising senior leadership on a variety of matters.
