During YouFirst Week, associates across Chartwells recognized and celebrated their teams through a nationwide initiative dedicated to lifting each other up. All week long, associates recognized each other through themed events, thank-you activities, and events that sparked little moments of joy.
Giving Thanks All Week Long | Elmhurst University
Every day of YouFirst Week, the Elmhurst University dining team came together for a special thank-you that celebrated the team’s incredible service. To kick off the week, associates were recognized with treat bags, thank-you cards, and certificates of achievement. The team got together later in the week to relax with each other and spark their creativity with pumpkin painting and coloring pages.
Annual Pie a Manager Party | Texas Women’s University
The Texas Women’s University team united during YouFirst Week for their annual tradition – the Pie a Manager Party. They unwound at the end of the week with a teamwide get-together where associates could pie a manager or try out some sweet snow cones.
Putting the Spotlight on our Associates | Lincoln Memorial University
Associates at Lincoln Memorial University had a good laugh when they first walked into their dining hall at the start of YouFirst Week, where their pictures were featured on posters. Associates also received a DIY s’mores kit as a thank you, along with YouFirst t-shirts and personalized thank-you notes from their general manager.
Moments of Gratitude | Worcester State
The Worcester State team kept YouFirst Week exciting with a new surprise every day. Associates handed out candy grams to each other, got new t-shirts, and took home YouFirst Snack Sacks with goodies to enjoy. The team broke into a few impromptu dance parties in their breakroom too!
Celebrating With Our Guests | Colgate University
The dining team at Colgate University was delighted to receive positive messages from the students, who had filled up a whole poster with heartfelt messages before the end of the week. These kind notes helped make YouFirst Week extra special for the Colgate team.
