CHARLOTTE, NC., July 21, 2022 — Meredith Rosenberg, Chartwells Higher Education’s vice president of communications and creative services, has been named Ragan and PR Daily’s Social Media Communicator of the Year in its Communicators of the Year & Rising Star Awards for 2022. The awards program acknowledges the industry’s best individual communications practitioners and teams from the past year, with winners surpassing their organizations’ and clients’ expectations.

Ms. Rosenberg was recognized for the outstanding internal and external communications programs she and her team created. Internally, she oversaw employee engagement programs such as Our People, Their Stories, which celebrates diversity by highlighting employees who wish to share their stories around cultural themes, from Pride Month to Native American Heritage and Black History. Externally, she spearheaded Chartwells’ industry-leading Path Forward webinar series as well as the JoyFul campaign, which focused on welcoming students back to campuses nationwide in memorable ways centered around food. Joy-Ful was named a 2022 Best Concept award winner by leading foodservice industry publication Food Management.
